List Building and Email Marketing

You've heard it before:  The money is in the list.

Or, as my friend Craig Perrine says, "The money is in the relationship with your list."

List building is a two-part process.

#1:  Bring visitors to your site.

#2:  Capture their email addresses.

Then you have a new job: build the relationship.

Statistics show sales on the Internet are generally made on the 7th contact with your potential customer. 


So it's not enough to make a great offer to your first time visitor.  You must provide a reason for him to give you his email address.  You must create a desire in that visitor to receive ongoing communications from you.
